How to Draw Rolling Dough
Draw rolling dough in 11 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the dough.
Step 1: The dough
Across the middle draw a wide, very flat oval for the dough, nearly as wide as the page.
Step 2: The roller
Across the dough, just above the middle, draw a long sausage with round ends. Let some dough show above it.
Tip Rub out the dough line inside the roller.
Step 3: The handles
At each end of the roller draw a short handle with a round knob, poking out past the dough.
Step 4: Round ends
Inside each end of the roller draw a C curve from the top corner to the bottom corner.
Step 5: Wood grain
On the roller draw 2 thin dashes for wood grain: one high on the right, one low on the left.
Step 6: Pressed dough
Right under the roller draw a gentle curve hugging its bottom edge, from the left end to the right end.
Step 7: Flour
Sprinkle 4 tiny dots of flour on the dough, 2 in front of the roller and 2 behind it.
Step 8: The table
Draw a table line under the dough, just touching its bottom, from far left to far right.
Step 9: Cream handles
Go over your lines, then colour both handles cream.
Step 10: Tan dough
Colour the dough tan, going around the roller and the handles.
Step 11: Wood roller
Colour the roller wood brown, leaving a thin white shine near the top. Keep rolling!
