How to Draw a Bubble Waffle
Draw a bubble waffle in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the cone.
Step 1: The cone
Start low on the left: bumpy side up, bowed top, bumpy side down. Stop low on the right.
Tip Round off both top corners, and make each bump a round bubble peeking out.
Step 2: The paper cup
Start a straight rim just left of the cone, stop just right, then hang a round-bottomed cup from its ends.
Tip Make the rim a little wider than the bottom of the cone, so the cone sits inside.
Step 3: Bubbles
Inside the cone draw rows of round bubbles: 4 across near the top, then 3, then 2.
Tip Each row tucks between the bubbles above, a little way in from the bumpy sides.
Step 4: Ice cream
Out of the cone draw 2 big scoops: one on the left, then one in front on the right.
Step 5: A strawberry
Where the 2 scoops meet draw a strawberry, a rounded triangle pointing down, with 3 seeds and 2 pointed leaves.
Step 6: A drizzle
Across the left scoop, from near its left side to its middle, draw a soft line with 2 gentle waves.
Step 7: A stripe
Round the cup draw one gently bowed line below its middle, from the left side to the right side.
Step 8: The table
Draw a line under the cup from well left to well right, just touching its bottom.
Step 9: Cream and pink scoops
Go over your lines, then colour the right scoop cream and the left scoop pink.
Step 10: Sky cup band
Colour the cup below its stripe sky blue, leaving the top of the cup white.
Step 11: Tan waffle, golden bubbles
Colour every bubble golden yellow, then colour the waffle tan around them.
Step 12: Red strawberry, green leaves
Colour the strawberry red and its leaves green. Your bubble waffle is done!
