How to Draw a Robot Lawnmower

11 steps · Medium · about 8 min

Draw a robot lawnmower in 11 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.

Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the shell.

Print

  1. Step 1: The shell

Below the middle, draw a long low hill with a flat bottom, higher at the back, round at the front.

Tip Keep it low and wide, about 3 times as wide as it is tall.

  2. Step 2: Two big eyes

On the front half of the shell, draw 2 big round eyes. Add a black dot and shine in each.

  3. Step 3: Smile and cheeks

Under the eyes, draw a U smile, and a small oval cheek beside each end of the smile.

  4. Step 4: The skirt

Under the shell, draw a long low strip with round ends, a little shorter than the shell.

  5. Step 5: Two wheels

Under the back of the skirt, draw a wide U for the big wheel. Add a small U in front.

  6. Step 6: Stop button

On top of the shell near the back, draw a small round button like half a ball.

  7. Step 7: The lawn

Start near the left edge. Draw soft grass bumps under the wheels and stop near the right edge.

  8. Step 8: Pink cheeks

    Colour the cheeks pink.

  9. Step 9: Light green lawn

Colour the lawn light green around the wheels, right to the edges of your paper.

  10. Step 10: Green shell

Colour the shell green around the eyes and cheeks. Leave the eyes white.

  11. Step 11: Red and dark grey

Colour the button red. Colour the skirt and both wheels dark grey.
