How to Draw a Rice Pudding
Draw a rice pudding in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the rim.
Step 1: The rim
A little below the middle of your paper, draw a wide flat oval for the top of the bowl.
Step 2: The bowl
Start at the left end of the oval. Draw a big U down and stop at the right end.
Step 3: A hill of rice
Draw 6 soft bumps from the left end of the rim to the right end. Rub out the rim inside.
Tip Rice pudding is soft rice cooked in sweet milk, with cinnamon on top.
Step 4: Grains of rice
On the hill, draw 4 tiny ovals for grains of rice, spread out.
Step 5: Cinnamon on top
Near the top of the hill, draw a small wobbly patch for a sprinkle of cinnamon.
Step 6: Raisins
On the rice, draw 3 small wrinkly raisins, 1 up on the left and 2 lower down.
Step 7: A spoon
From behind the hill on the left, draw a spoon handle leaning up to the left, with a round end.
Step 8: The foot
Under the bowl, draw a short stand. Start on the bottom, go down, across and back up to it.
Step 9: The table
Draw a long line under the foot, from far left to far right, just touching its bottom.
Step 10: Cream rice
Go over your lines. Colour the rice cream, around the cinnamon patch and the raisins.
Step 11: Blue bowl, grey spoon
Colour the bowl and its foot light blue, and the spoon handle grey.
Step 12: Brown cinnamon, purple raisins
Colour the cinnamon patch brown and the raisins purple.
