How to Draw an Apple with a Face
Draw an apple with a face in 11 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the apple.
Step 1: The apple
Start at a dip on top. Draw a round shoulder down the side, stop at a notch underneath. Repeat left.
Tip Leave room above for the stem and leaf.
Step 2: 2 big eyes
Below the middle draw 2 big egg eyes, an eye apart. Add a big black dot with a white shine.
Step 3: Smile and cheeks
Under the eyes draw a wide U smile. Add a small flat oval cheek beside each end.
Step 4: The stem
From the dip draw a short stem leaning right, thinner at the top. Round the tip and come back down.
Step 5: The leaf
From the stem draw a big almond leaf pointing up right. Add a bowed line down its middle.
Step 6: A shine
Inside the right shoulder, a finger from the edge, draw a thin curved sliver for the shine.
Step 7: 2 arms out
From each side, level with the eyes, draw an arm that bends up to a round mitten with a thumb.
Step 8: 2 feet
Under each bottom bump draw a bean foot poking out, round at the toe and flat on the bottom.
Step 9: The ground
Start far left. Draw a ground line along both feet, stop far right. Add 2 little V grass tufts.
Step 10: Pink cheeks, green leaf
Colour the cheeks pink and the leaf green.
Step 11: Red apple, brown stem
Colour the apple, arms and feet red, around the cheeks, and the stem brown. Leave the eyes and shine white.
Tip Your apple pal is done!
