How to Draw a Panna Cotta

10 steps · Medium · about 8 min

Draw a panna cotta in 10 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.

Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: a plate.

Print

  1. Step 1: A plate

Below the middle draw a wide flat oval plate. Add a second oval inside it for the rim.

  2. Step 2: The dome

On the plate, a little left of the middle, draw a big wobbly dome, wider at the bottom.

Tip Panna cotta is a wobbly cream pudding with berry sauce.

  3. Step 3: Berry sauce

Over the top of the dome, draw a sauce cap with a wavy bottom edge and 3 drips hanging down.

  4. Step 4: A pool

At the right foot of the dome draw a small wobbly puddle of sauce on the plate.

  5. Step 5: Berries

Draw a round berry touching the pool, a smaller one at the left foot, and a bumpy raspberry far right.

  6. Step 6: Mint

Beside the left berry draw a small pointed mint leaf lying on the plate.

  7. Step 7: The table

Draw a line under the plate from well left to well right, just touching its bottom.

  8. Step 8: Cream dome

Go over your lines, then colour the dome cream below the sauce.

  9. Step 9: Red sauce and berries

Colour the sauce, the pool, the berries and the raspberry red.

  10. Step 10: Green mint, sky plate

Colour the mint leaf green and the plate sky blue all around the pudding. Your panna cotta is done!
