How to Draw a Restaurant
Draw a restaurant in 13 easy steps, about 10 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the roof.
Step 1: The roof
Near the top, left of middle, draw a pointy roof with 2 sagging slopes and a thick brim sticking out.
Tip Leave the right side empty for a little table outside.
Step 2: The walls
Start under the brim, near the left. Draw a plump wall down, across, and back up. Stop on the brim.
Step 3: Door and step
In the middle, draw a tall rainbow-top door on a low step that starts and stops on the bottom line.
Step 4: The ground
From the wall's bottom corners, draw the ground almost to each edge. Add 3 grass blades on the left.
Step 5: Two windows
On each side of the door, draw a big square window with a plus sign inside, edge to edge.
Step 6: Little awnings
Over each window, draw a little awning with 3 bumps along its bottom. Draw 2 lines down each for stripes.
Step 7: The sign
Above the door, under the brim, draw a flat sign board between the awnings. Write CAFE in big letters.
Step 8: Chimney and smoke
Start on the right roof slope. Draw a tall chimney up and stop on the slope. Add 3 smoke puffs.
Step 9: Table outside
Draw an oval table on the right, with a leg from each side down to the ground. Add 2 mugs.
Step 10: The umbrella
Above the table, draw a rainbow dome with a bumpy bottom. Draw a pole from the table up to it.
Step 11: Cream walls, yellow sign
Colour the walls cream, going around everything on them. Colour the sign and the 2 mugs yellow.
Step 12: Sky windows, blue stripes
Colour the windows sky blue and every other awning stripe blue.
Step 13: Red roof, brown door
Colour the roof, umbrella and step red. Colour the door, chimney and table brown around the mugs.
