How to Draw Santorini Houses
Draw Santorini houses in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the cliff.
Step 1: The cliff
Start at the bottom left. Draw a long line curving up to the right edge of your paper.
Tip On Santorini, white houses with blue domes climb the cliffs above the sea.
Step 2: Top house
Near the top right draw a square cube house sitting on the slope.
Step 3: Its dome
On top of the house draw a half-round dome, as wide as the house.
Step 4: Middle house
A little lower and to the left draw a second cube house, with a half-round dome on top.
Step 5: Bottom house
Lower again on the left draw a third cube house with a flat top.
Step 6: Arched doors
On each house draw a tall door with a rounded top.
Step 7: Windows
On each house draw 2 small square windows, one on each side of the door.
Step 8: The sea
Start at the left edge. Draw a straight sea line across to the right edge. Add 2 waves under it.
Step 9: Sun and cloud
In the top left corner draw a sun with short rays, and a little cloud beside it.
Step 10: Sky windows, yellow sun
Colour the windows sky blue and the sun yellow. Hello, Santorini!
Step 11: Blue domes and sea
Colour the domes, the doors and the sea blue.
Step 12: White houses
Go over your lines, then colour the houses white around the doors and windows, and the cliff brown.
