How to Draw Rainbow Ice Cream
Draw rainbow ice cream in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the cone.
Step 1: The cone
Start on the left below the middle. Draw a long line down to a round tip. Same on the right.
Tip A long narrow V with a round bottom. The lines meet at the tip.
Step 2: Bottom scoop
On the cone draw a big round scoop, wider than the cone, with a wavy drippy bottom hanging over.
Step 3: Middle scoop
From the first scoop draw a smaller round scoop up and over. Curve its sides in to stop on it.
Step 4: Top scoop
From the middle scoop draw a third, smaller scoop up and over. Curve its sides in to stop on it.
Step 5: Cherry on top
Draw a round cherry on the very top. From the cherry draw a short stem up to a leaf.
Step 6: Waffle lines
Slant 3 lines across the cone, each from edge to edge. Cross them with 3 slanting the other way.
Tip Space them evenly so the whole cone fills with little diamonds.
Step 7: Sprinkles
Draw 6 little ovals on the scoops, tilted different ways, 2 on each scoop.
Step 8: A drip
Start on the wavy lip. Draw a long drip down the cone, round the bottom, back up to the lip.
Tip One long drip makes it look melty.
Step 9: Pink and yellow scoops
Colour the bottom scoop and the drip pink and the middle scoop yellow. Leave the sprinkles white.
Step 10: Blue scoop, red cherry
Colour the top scoop sky blue, leaving its sprinkles white, and the cherry red with a white shine.
Step 11: Tan cone
Colour the cone tan, around the drip.
Step 12: Green stem and leaf
Colour the cherry's stem and leaf green. Go over your lines and your rainbow ice cream is done!
