How to Draw Ketchup
Draw ketchup in 11 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the bottle.
Step 1: The bottle
In the middle, draw a tall bottle as tall as your hand, with a narrow neck on top.
Step 2: Pointy cap
On the neck, draw a short wide band. On top, draw 2 slanted lines up to a small flat tip.
Tip The cap is a cone with a tiny flat top.
Step 3: Cap line
Draw a short line across the cap near its bottom.
Step 4: A label
On the front of the bottle, draw a wide label with soft corners, nearly touching both sides.
Step 5: A tomato
On the label, draw a round tomato with 5 little round leaves on top.
Step 6: A shine
Draw a short curved line on the left side of the bottle, above the label, for a shine.
Step 7: Table and shadow
Draw a flat oval around the bottle's bottom for a shadow. Draw a table line out from each side.
Step 8: Ketchup blob
On the table to the right, draw a little rounded blob for a squirt of ketchup.
Step 9: Shadow and leaves
Go over your lines. Colour the shadow grey and the tomato's little leaves green.
Step 10: Red ketchup
Colour the bottle and the blob red, leaving the label and the cap white.
Step 11: Red tomato
Colour the tomato red, around its green leaves. Your ketchup is done!
