How to Draw a Coffee Bean

11 steps · Medium · about 8 min

Draw a coffee bean in 11 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.

Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the bean.

Print

  1. Step 1: The bean

In the middle of your paper draw a big tall oval standing up, as big as your fist.

  2. Step 2: Two big eyes

Below the middle, a little to the right, draw 2 big egg eyes. Colour a big black dot in each.

  3. Step 3: Smile and cheeks

Under the eyes draw a wide U smile from eye to eye, with a small oval cheek beside each end.

  4. Step 4: The crease

From the top point draw a long curvy crease down to the bottom point, going left of the face.

Tip Every coffee bean has a long line from end to end.

  5. Step 5: A little bean

Down on the left, on the ground, draw a small oval leaning left, with a wiggly line down its middle.

  6. Step 6: Another little bean

Do the same on the right, a small oval leaning right, with a wiggly line down its middle.

  7. Step 7: A shine

Near the top right of the big bean draw a thin pointed oval for the shine.

  8. Step 8: The ground

Draw the ground line from edge to edge, just touching the bottoms of all 3 beans.

  9. Step 9: Pink cheeks

    Colour the cheeks pink.

  10. Step 10: Brown bean

Colour the big bean brown around the pink cheeks, leaving the shine and the eyes white.

  11. Step 11: Brown little beans

Colour the two little beans brown. Go over your lines, and your coffee bean is done!
