How to Draw a Puzzle
Draw a puzzle in 10 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the square.
Step 1: The square
In the middle of your paper draw a big square, about as big as your hand.
Step 2: The cut across
Start halfway down the left side. Draw a line across to the right side, 1 knob up, 1 knob down.
Tip Each knob is a small round bump with a narrow neck.
Step 3: Two big eyes
Above the cut on the left, draw 2 big egg eyes. Colour a black dot in each, leaving a shine.
Step 4: Smile and cheeks
Under the eyes draw a wide U smile. Draw a small flat oval cheek beside each end of the smile.
Step 5: The cut down
Start halfway along the top, right of the face. Draw down to the bottom, 1 knob right, 1 knob left.
Step 6: A little heart
In the bottom-right piece draw a tiny heart: 2 bumps on top and a point at the bottom.
Step 7: Sparkles
Draw 4 little sparkle stars off the corners of the puzzle.
Step 8: Yellow piece, pink heart
Go over your lines. Colour the bottom-left piece yellow, following its knobs, and the cheeks and heart pink.
Step 9: Red piece
Colour the top-left piece red, going around the eyes and pink cheeks. Leave the eyes white.
Step 10: Blue and green pieces
Colour the top-right piece blue and the bottom-right piece green, going around the heart. Your puzzle is done!
