How to Draw a Puzzle Piece
Draw a puzzle piece in 10 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the piece.
Step 1: The piece
Draw a big square. Add a knob on the top and the right. Bite out the bottom and the left.
Tip Knob up, knob right, bite below, bite left: like a square wearing 2 buttons.
Step 2: Two big eyes
Draw 2 big egg eyes in the middle. Colour a big black dot in each, leaving a white shine spot.
Step 3: Smile and cheeks
Under the eyes draw a wide U smile, eye to eye. Add a small oval cheek beside each end.
Step 4: A small piece
At the bottom right draw a tiny puzzle piece with a knob on top and a bite on the left.
Step 5: Shine
Inside the top left of the piece draw one short curve for a shine.
Step 6: The ground
Start on the left. Draw a long ground line under both pieces and stop out on the right.
Step 7: Sparkles
Draw 3 sparkle stars round the piece.
Step 8: Yellow small piece
Colour the small piece yellow, and the sparkles yellow too.
Step 9: Pink cheeks
Colour both cheeks pink.
Step 10: Sky piece
Colour the big piece sky blue, going around the eyes and cheeks. Leave the eyes white.
