How to Draw a Winking Emoji
Draw a winking emoji in 10 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: big round face.
Step 1: Big round face
In the middle of your paper, draw 1 big circle, nearly as big as the page.
Step 2: One open eye
A little above the middle, on the left, draw 1 tall oval eye. Colour it black, leaving a white shine.
Step 3: The wink
On the right, level with the eye, draw a short curve bending down like a little smile.
Tip One eye open, one eye shut: that is a wink!
Step 4: Eyebrows
Above each eye, draw a short rainbow eyebrow. Lift the one over the wink a bit higher.
Step 5: Big smile
Start below the left eye. Draw a huge U, ending on the right. Join the ends with a straight line.
Step 6: Teeth
Just under the straight line, start at the left corner and draw a gentle curve across to the right corner.
Step 7: Shine
Inside the top left edge, draw a short curve following the circle, from above the eyebrow to eye level.
Step 8: Pink cheeks
Colour a soft pink oval on each cheek, just above the ends of the smile.
Step 9: Colour it yellow
Colour the whole face bright yellow, around the black eye, the pink cheeks and the mouth.
Step 10: Red mouth
Colour the inside of the mouth red, leaving the teeth white. Your winking emoji is done!
