How to Draw a Princess on a Unicorn

Step 1: Unicorn head

On the left, draw a long horse head: a round cheek at the top and a long nose pointing down.

Tip Leave room above for the princess.

Step 2: Eye and ears

Draw 1 big eye with a black dot. Add a nostril, a smile and 2 pointy ears on top.

Step 3: Spiral horn

In front of the ears, draw a long pointy horn. Add 2 stripes across it.

Step 4: Neck and back

Start behind the ears. Draw down the thick neck, along the back and round the bottom. Stop half way down.

Step 5: Front leg

Draw a ground line. Start under the cheek. Draw the chest down into a leg, then back up and stop.

Step 6: Tummy and back leg

Start at the front leg. Draw a round tummy, a back leg down and up, and stop at the bottom.

Step 7: Far legs and hooves

Under the tummy, draw 2 more legs peeking out. Draw a short line across each leg for 4 hooves.

Step 8: Mane and tail

Draw a tuft between the horn and ears. Draw 3 locks of mane down the neck and a long tail.

Step 9: Skirt and shoe

On the back, draw a bell skirt hanging down the side. Under it, draw her leg and a round shoe.

Tip She sits on the unicorn, so you see 1 leg. The other is on the far side.

Step 10: Top and arm

Above the skirt, draw her top. Add a bent arm that gets thinner, and a mitten hand on the mane.

Step 11: Head, hair and crown

Draw a round head with 2 dot eyes and a smile. Add a fringe, long hair behind and a crown.

Step 12: White and peach

Colour the unicorn white. Colour her face, her hand and her leg peach.

Step 13: Yellow and pink

Colour the horn, the crown and the 4 hooves yellow. Colour her dress and sleeve pink.

Step 14: Purple and brown

Colour the mane, tuft, tail and her shoe purple. Colour her hair brown. Your princess is ready to ride!
