How to Draw Eyes
Draw eyes in 10 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the left eye.
Step 1: The left eye
Left of the middle, draw an almond lying on its side, pointy at both ends. It's about 3 fingers wide.
Tip Make the top curve bulge more than the bottom.
Step 2: The right eye
Leave a gap one eye wide. Draw the same almond again on the right.
Step 3: Big circles
In each eye draw a big circle in the middle, nearly touching the top and bottom.
Step 4: Pupils
In the middle of each big circle draw a smaller circle for the pupil.
Step 5: Shines
Draw 2 little shine circles on each pupil. Colour the pupils black around them.
Step 6: Eyelids
Start at the outside corner of each eye. Draw a rainbow above the eye and stop at the inside corner.
Step 7: Eyelashes
On the outside corner of each eye draw 3 lashes, starting on the eye line and flicking out and up.
Tip Make the middle lash the longest.
Step 8: Happy eyebrows
Above each eye draw a thick eyebrow like a rainbow, fat in the middle and thin at both ends.
Step 9: Green eyes
Colour the big circles green around the pupils. Leave the shines and the eye whites white.
Step 10: Brown eyebrows
Colour the eyebrows brown. Go over your lines and the eyes are done.
