How to Draw a Priest
Draw a priest in 13 easy steps, about 10 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the head.
Step 1: The head
Near the top of your paper draw an egg for the head, a little narrower at the chin.
Tip Leave most of the page below for the long robe.
Step 2: The face
In the middle of the head draw 2 big eyes with black dots. Add eyebrows, a nose and a smile.
Step 3: Short hair
Start on the left. Draw 6 soft tufts over the head and stop on the right. Add a hairline.
Step 4: Two ears
On each side of the head draw a C ear: start on the head, bulge out, stop on the head.
Step 5: Neck and long robe
Draw 2 short neck lines down to a flat collar line. From it draw round shoulders and a long robe.
Tip The robe gets a little wider all the way down to the hem.
Step 6: White collar
In the middle of the collar line, right under the chin, draw a small square.
Step 7: Long sleeves
Start at each shoulder and stop at the armpit. Hang a long sleeve down each side.
Tip Rub out the robe's shoulder lines inside the sleeves.
Step 8: Two fists
Draw a round fist hanging from each cuff, thumbs pointing in. Add a curved finger line.
Step 9: Cross necklace
From the collar hang a U chain around the square. Under it draw a cross with 2 bars.
Step 10: Shoes and ground
Under the hem draw a shoe on each side, toes pointing out. Draw a long ground line under them.
Step 11: Pink cheeks, peach skin
Go over your lines. Colour pink cheeks, then the face, ears, neck and hands peach around them.
Tip Leave the eyes white.
Step 12: Yellow cross, brown hair
Colour the cross yellow and the hair brown.
Step 13: Dark robe, black shoes
Colour the robe and sleeves dark grey around the cross. Leave the collar square white. Colour the shoes black.
