How to Draw a Mullet
Draw a mullet in 13 easy steps, about 10 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the head.
Step 1: The head
Near the top draw a big egg for the head, round on top and narrower at the chin.
Tip Make it big: the hair and the big eyes need room.
Step 2: Two ears
On each side of the head draw a C ear: start on the head, bulge out, stop on the head.
Step 3: Big eyes
In the middle of the head draw 2 big round eyes. Colour a big black dot in each.
Step 4: Nose and smile
Under the eyes draw a tiny U nose, then a wide smile with a tick at each end.
Step 5: Eyebrows
Above each eye draw a gently curved eyebrow.
Step 6: Short top hair
Start just above the left ear. Draw 6 soft round tufts over the head, stop just above the right ear.
Tip Keep the bumps low and round, not spikes.
Step 7: Hairline
From the left point curve up in front of the ear, across the forehead and down to the right point.
Tip Rub out the head line inside the hair.
Step 8: The neck
Under the chin draw 2 short neck lines, then join their bottoms with a U.
Step 9: Long back hair
From under each ear draw long hair down beside the neck. Flick the end out, then add 2 soft bumps.
Tip Short on top and long at the back: that is a mullet.
Step 10: The shirt
From under the long hair slope a shoulder out and down on each side. Join them across the bottom.
Step 11: Hair strands
From the dips in the hair draw short curved lines: 3 down from the top, 2 up each side.
Step 12: Pink cheeks, peach skin
Colour the cheeks pink, then colour the face, ears and neck peach around them. Leave the eyes white.
Step 13: Brown hair, blue shirt
Colour all the hair brown, short and long. Colour the shirt blue. Go over your lines.
