How to Draw King George III
Draw King George III in 13 easy steps, about 10 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the head.
Step 1: The head
Near the top of your paper draw an egg for the head, a little narrower at the chin.
Tip Leave most of the page below for the body and legs.
Step 2: The face
Just below the middle of the head draw 2 oval eyes with black dots. Add a nose, smile and eyebrows.
Step 3: Powdered wig
Start by the left eyebrow. Draw soft bumps over the head, down to the right eyebrow. Add a hairline across.
Step 4: Wig rolls and crown
On each side of the head draw 2 short oval rolls, stacked. Top the wig with a 3-point crown.
Step 5: Neck and coat
Draw a short neck and round shoulders ending at arm height. Start coat sides further in, down to a hem.
Step 6: Waistcoat and buttons
Inside the coat draw a tall V from the collar down to the middle of the chest, with 2 buttons.
Step 7: Arms
From each shoulder draw the outside of the arm down to the wrist. From the armpit draw the inside line.
Step 8: Mitten hands
Under each arm draw a mitten hand, round like an egg's bottom, with a little thumb pointing in.
Step 9: Breeches and stockings
From the coat's bottom draw short trousers down to the knees. Under each knee draw 2 lines down for stockings.
Step 10: Shoes and ground
Under each leg draw a shoe with the toe pointing out. Then draw a long ground line under the shoes.
Step 11: Peach skin, pink cheeks
Colour the face, neck and hands peach, with pink cheeks. Leave the eyes white.
Step 12: Gold crown, red coat
Colour the crown and buttons yellow. Colour the coat and sleeves red, leaving the waistcoat white.
Step 13: Blue breeches, black shoes
Colour the breeches blue and the shoes black. Leave the wig and stockings white, and go over your lines!
