How to Draw a Power Button

10 steps · Medium · about 8 min

Draw a power button in 10 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.

Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the big ring.

Print

  1. Step 1: The big ring

Draw a big thick ring with a gap on top: start top left, go round the bottom, stop top right.

Tip Like a fat letter C facing up: 2 circles, joined at the gap.

  2. Step 2: Two big eyes

In the middle of the ring draw 2 big egg eyes, a little apart. Colour a black dot in each.

  3. Step 3: A big smile

Under the eyes draw a U smile, from below one pupil to below the other.

  4. Step 4: Two cheeks

Beside each end of the smile draw a small flat oval cheek.

  5. Step 5: The bar

In the gap draw a tall thin bar with rounded ends, standing up, poking a little into the ring.

  6. Step 6: Sparkles

Draw 4 sparkle stars, 2 on each side of the ring, one high and one low.

  7. Step 7: Floor line

Under the ring draw a floor line, from near the left edge to near the right edge.

  8. Step 8: Pink cheeks

    Colour the 2 cheeks pink.

  9. Step 9: Yellow sparkles

    Colour the 4 sparkles yellow.

  10. Step 10: Teal power button

Go over your lines, then colour the ring and the bar teal. Leave the middle and eyes white. Power on!
