How to Draw a Price Tag
Draw a price tag in 10 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the tag.
Step 1: The tag
In the middle draw a tall box with its top corners cut off to a point, like a little house.
Tip Taller than it is wide, with a pointy roof.
Step 2: Hole and string
Under the point draw a small round hole. From it draw a string looping up over the roof and back.
Step 3: Two big eyes
Below the hole draw 2 big egg eyes. Colour a big black dot in each, leaving a white shine.
Step 4: Smile and cheeks
Under the eyes draw a U smile from eye to eye. Add a small oval cheek beside each end.
Step 5: The price sign
Below the smile draw a fat bubble S, with a short bar poking out of the top and the bottom.
Tip An S with little bars at the top and bottom is a dollar sign: the price!
Step 6: Table and shadow
Draw a flat oval shadow round the bottom of the tag. Add a table line out from each side.
Step 7: Sparkles
Draw 3 sparkle stars round the tag: one high left, one on the right, one low left.
Step 8: Cream tag
Go over your lines, then colour the tag cream. Leave the hole, eyes, cheeks and dollar sign white.
Step 9: Red sign, pink cheeks
Colour the cheeks pink and the dollar sign red.
Step 10: Yellow sparkles, grey shadow
Colour the sparkles yellow and the shadow grey, and your price tag is ready to hang!
