How to Draw Crayon Melting Art
Draw crayon melting art in 11 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: canvas.
Step 1: Canvas
In the middle of your paper draw a tall box standing on the ground, like a door.
Step 2: Two big eyes
Low on the canvas draw 2 big egg eyes. Add a black dot and white shine in each.
Step 3: Smile and cheeks
Under the eyes draw a wide U smile. Add a small oval cheek under the outside of each eye.
Step 4: Crayons
Over the top edge draw 6 crayons pointing down, each a box with a paper band and a pointy tip.
Step 5: Drips
From each crayon tip draw a wobbly drip down, ending in a round blob. Rub out each tip's end.
Step 6: Ground line
Start near the left edge. Draw a straight ground line under the canvas and stop near the right edge.
Step 7: Sparkles
Draw 4 sparkles around the canvas, like plus signs with curvy sides.
Step 8: Cream canvas, pink cheeks
Go over your lines. Colour the canvas cream around the crayons, drips and face, and the cheeks pink.
Tip Leave the eyes white.
Step 9: Red and orange
Colour the first crayon and its drip red, and the second one orange.
Step 10: Yellow and green
Colour the third crayon, its drip and the sparkles yellow, and the fourth crayon and drip green.
Step 11: Blue and purple
Colour the fifth crayon and drip blue, and the last one purple.
