How to Draw a Poster
Draw a poster in 10 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the sheet.
Step 1: The sheet
In the middle draw a tall rectangle, with the bottom right corner cut off on a slant, as if curled.
Step 2: The border
Inside it draw a second line all the way round, a finger in, following the same shape, for the border.
Step 3: Two big eyes
Above the middle draw 2 big egg eyes, a little apart. Colour a black dot in each, leaving a shine.
Step 4: Smile and cheeks
Draw a U smile from under the left eye to the right eye. Add a small cheek beside each end.
Step 5: The curled corner
On the slanted cut draw a curl: start at the top of the slant, bulge out, back to the bottom.
Step 6: 3 pushpins
Between the edge and the border draw a small round pushpin at 3 corners: top left, top right, bottom left.
Step 7: Stars and a heart
Under the smile draw 2 sparkle stars, one left and one right, and a tiny heart between them.
Step 8: Sky picture
Go over your lines, then colour inside the border sky blue, going round the eyes, cheeks, stars and heart.
Tip Leave the eyes white.
Step 9: Red pins, yellow stars
Colour the pushpins and the tiny heart red and the stars yellow.
Step 10: Pink cheeks, sand curl
Colour the cheeks pink and the curled corner sand. Your poster is done!

Your finished drawing
Follow the steps above and this is where you end up: a poster, drawn by you.
