How to Draw a Polo Shirt
Draw a polo shirt in 13 easy steps, about 10 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: neck hole.
Step 1: Neck hole
Up top draw a low rainbow 3 fingers wide. From its left end draw a U down to its right.
Tip That's the back of the collar and the neck hole.
Step 2: Shoulders and sleeves
From each end of the rainbow draw a sleeve sloping out and down. Stop each one at the armpit.
Step 3: The body
From each armpit draw a side line straight down to a round corner. Join the corners with a droopy hem.
Step 4: Big collar flaps
From each end of the rainbow draw a collar flap down to a point, then up onto the U.
Step 5: Button strip
From the neck U draw 2 lines down to armpit level, a finger apart. Join them with a little bump.
Step 6: 3 big buttons
On the button strip draw 3 round buttons, one under the other.
Step 7: Chest stripe
Below the buttons draw a line from the left side across to the right. Add another a finger lower.
Step 8: 2 big eyes
Below the stripe draw 2 big circles, a little apart. Fill each with a big black dot, leaving a shine.
Step 9: Smile and cheeks
Under the eyes draw a U smile, from below one eye to the other. Add a cheek beside each end.
Step 10: Cuff bands and ground
Across each sleeve draw a cuff line. Draw the ground from far left across to far right, touching the hem.
Step 11: Pink cheeks
Colour the 2 cheeks pink.
Step 12: Yellow polo
Colour the shirt and neck hole yellow, around the cheeks. Leave the collar, button strip, stripe, cuffs and eyes white.
Step 13: Navy stripe and buttons
Colour the stripe, the cuff bands and the buttons navy blue. Go over your lines. Your polo shirt is done!
