How to Draw a Cooler
Draw a cooler in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the box.
Step 1: The box
Low on your paper draw a big wide box with rounded corners. Make it almost as wide as the page.
Step 2: The open lid
Above the box draw another wide box with rounded corners, a little narrower. This is the open lid.
Step 3: Two big eyes
On the box draw 2 big round eyes, close together. Colour a black dot in each, leaving a shine.
Step 4: Smile and cheeks
Under the eyes draw a wide U smile. Add a small flat oval cheek beside each end.
Step 5: Inside the lid
Inside the lid draw a smaller box with rounded corners, a finger in from the edge.
Step 6: Ice and a bottle
Peeking over the top of the box draw 3 ice cubes. Between them draw a bottle with a tiny cap.
Step 7: Side handles
On each side draw a slim loop handle with a hole inside. Start and stop on the box.
Step 8: The latch
At the top of the front, in the middle, draw a small box for the latch.
Step 9: The ground
Draw a ground line under the cooler, touching its bottom, from one side of the paper to the other.
Step 10: Grey lining, sky ice
Colour the inside of the lid grey, and the ice cubes and the bottle sky blue.
Step 11: Grey handles, pink cheeks
Colour the handles, latch and cap grey, and the cheeks pink.
Step 12: Blue cooler
Colour the box and lid frame blue around the cheeks, latch, ice and bottle. Leave the eyes white. Picnic time!
