How to Draw a Plumber
Draw a plumber in 13 easy steps, about 10 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the head.
Step 1: The head
Near the top of your paper draw an egg for the head, a little narrower at the chin.
Tip Leave most of the page below for the body and legs.
Step 2: The face
Draw 2 eyes, a small nose and a wide smile. Each C ear starts and stops on the head line.
Step 3: Bow moustache
Under the nose draw a bow moustache, 2 round puffs that meet in the middle.
Tip Rub out the smile ends inside it.
Step 4: Baseball cap
Draw a round cap over the head, with a button on top. Add a curved visor dipping above the eyes.
Tip Rub out the head line inside the cap.
Step 5: Neck and shirt
Draw 2 short neck lines. From the left one draw a shirt with short sleeves, round to the right one.
Step 6: Overalls bib and straps
Draw a bib box on the chest, 2 straps from its top out to the shoulders, and a small pocket.
Step 7: Long sleeves
Draw sleeves from the shoulders down to the wrists. Bend the left one in. Add a cuff on the right.
Tip Rub out the shirt lines inside the sleeves.
Step 8: Mitten hands
Draw a mitten hanging from the right cuff, and one pointing in from the left sleeve with a thumb bump.
Step 9: The wrench
From the left fist draw 2 handle lines up to chest height. Add a wide head with a U notch.
Step 10: Trousers, shoes and ground
From the hem draw 2 trouser legs down to the ankles. Add a shoe under each and a ground line.
Step 11: Peach skin, pink cheeks
Colour pink cheeks, then the face, ears, neck and hands peach around the cheeks and moustache. Leave the eyes white.
Step 12: Yellow shirt, grey wrench
Colour the shirt and sleeves yellow around the wrench, then the wrench grey.
Step 13: Teal overalls, brown shoes
Colour the cap, overalls and trousers teal around the hand. Colour the moustache and shoes brown.
Tip Go over your lines. Your plumber is done!
