How to Draw a Mummy
Draw a mummy in 14 easy steps, about 11 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the head.
Step 1: The head
Near the top of your paper draw a big egg for the head, a little wider at the cheeks.
Tip Leave most of the page below for the body.
Step 2: Eye gap
Start on the left side of the head. Draw 2 curved lines across. Stop on the right side.
Step 3: Eyes and smile
Draw 2 big oval eyes with black dots in the gap. Start a smile under one, stop under the other.
Step 4: Head bandages
Start on the left of the forehead. Draw a slanting curve across. Add a short one from the right.
Step 5: Round body
Leave a gap under the head. Start below the left cheek, draw a wide U, stop below the right cheek.
Step 6: Arms
Start beside the chin. Draw an arm out, down and back to the top of the U. Do both sides.
Tip Make each arm a little thinner towards the wrist.
Step 7: Mitten hands
At the end of each arm draw a round mitten hand with a small thumb on the inside.
Step 8: Legs
Under the body draw 2 short legs with an arch between them. Make them a little thinner lower down.
Step 9: Feet and ground
Under each leg draw a round foot, toes pointing out. Draw a ground line under the feet.
Step 10: Body bandages
Draw 3 curved lines across the body from side to side. Add a slanting one from the chin.
Step 11: Arm and leg bandages
Draw 2 short curved lines across each arm and each leg, from edge to edge.
Step 12: Loose end
Start under the left hand. Draw a short wavy strip hanging down with a round end, back to the hand.
Step 13: Cream bandages
Colour all the bandages cream. Leave the eye gap white for now.
Step 14: Peach eye strip
Colour the gap around the eyes peach. Leave the eyes white.
