How to Draw a Pleading Emoji

10 steps · Medium · about 8 min

Draw a pleading emoji in 10 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.

Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: big round face.

Print

  1. Step 1: Big round face

In the middle of your paper, draw 1 big circle, nearly as big as the page.

  2. Step 2: Two huge eyes

In the middle of the face, draw 2 huge round eyes, a small gap apart, as big as plums.

  3. Step 3: Big pupils

Inside each eye, draw a big circle, a little low, filling most of the eye.

  4. Step 4: Wet shines

Colour each pupil black, leaving a big white shine top left and a tiny one bottom right.

Tip Giant wet eyes are what make the pleading face.

  5. Step 5: Worried eyebrows

Above each eye, draw a long curved eyebrow sloping up toward the middle, like a little roof.

  6. Step 6: Tiny mouth

Under the eyes, start left of the middle and draw a tiny, nearly flat curve, stopping right of the middle.

  7. Step 7: Two cheeks

Under the outside of each eye, draw a small flat oval for a cheek.

  8. Step 8: Shine

Near the top left of the face, draw a short curved line following the edge of the circle.

  9. Step 9: Pink cheeks

    Colour the 2 cheeks pink.

  10. Step 10: Colour it yellow

Colour the face bright yellow, around the eyes and cheeks. Leave the eyes white. Go over your lines!
