How to Draw the Big Bad Wolf
Draw the Big Bad Wolf in 13 easy steps, about 10 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the head.
Step 1: The head
Left of the middle, draw the head like a big egg on its side, narrow end pointing right.
Step 2: Snout and nose
From the forehead, draw a blunt snout pointing right, back to the chin. Add a black nose on the tip.
Step 3: Two pointy ears
On top of the head, draw 2 pointy ears leaning back. Draw a small triangle inside each.
Step 4: Big eye and brow
In the front of the head, draw one big round eye with a shine. Add a rainbow brow above.
Step 5: Friendly smile
Start under the nose. Draw a smile back along the snout, curling up. Stop at the cheek.
Step 6: Ruff, back and ground
From behind the head, draw 3 fur hills under it, then 3 down the back to a ground line.
Step 7: Thigh and back paw
Start halfway down the back. Draw an egg thigh down to a round paw. Add 2 toe lines.
Step 8: Chest and front leg
Start under the chin. Draw the chest out, a leg getting thinner, then a big paw. Stop on the ground.
Step 9: Paws and tummy
From the toes, go under the paw, then up to the thigh. Add a far paw and 2 toe lines.
Step 10: Bushy tail
Start on the back where the thigh begins. Draw a thick banana tail sweeping up behind, back to the bottom.
Step 11: Straw house
Right of the wolf, draw a little house with a door and a round roof with 3 straw lines.
Step 12: Cream and yellow
Colour the triangle inside each ear and the house walls cream. Colour the straw roof yellow.
Step 13: Grey wolf
Colour the whole wolf grey, around the cream ear triangles. Leave the eye white.
