How to Draw a Pitbull
Draw a pitbull in 13 easy steps, about 10 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: big wide head.
Step 1: Big wide head
Near the top, draw a big rounded square head with broad cheeks and a wide jaw.
Tip A pit bull has a big blocky head.
Step 2: Small folded ears
On each top corner of the head, draw a small ear folded back, with a soft point.
Tip Small ears that fold back like rose petals.
Step 3: Two big eyes
Above the middle of the head, draw 2 egg eyes, a gap apart. Add black dots with shines.
Step 4: Wide nose patch
Under the eyes, draw a wide oval, half as wide as the head. Sit a black triangle nose on it.
Step 5: Big grin and tongue
From the nose point, draw a short line down to a big wide w grin. Hang a small U tongue.
Step 6: Broad body
From under each side of the jaw, draw a big C down each side, ending near the bottom. Join them.
Tip A broad chest: bulge the sides out like a barrel.
Step 7: Collar and tag
Under the chin, draw 2 sagging curves from one side of the body over to the other. Add a tag.
Step 8: Front legs
From the collar, draw 2 legs, each down to a round paw with toes and back up to the collar.
Step 9: Back paws and tail
At each bottom corner, draw a little hill paw with toe lines. On the right, draw a question-mark tail.
Step 10: The ground
Draw a long ground line across under all 4 paws.
Step 11: Pink tongue
Go over your lines. Colour the tongue pink. Leave the nose patch and the eyes white.
Step 12: Grey fur
Colour the head, ears, body, legs and tail grey, going around the nose patch, eyes and collar.
Step 13: Red collar
Colour the collar red, and your pit bull is done!
