How to Draw Pita Bread
Draw pita bread in 10 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: half a pita.
Step 1: Half a pita
Draw a fat round pocket with a straight top edge, tipped so the right corner is higher.
Tip Let the sides bulge out below the corners, like a stuffed pouch.
Step 2: Tomato slices
Draw 2 round tomato slices poking up out of the top edge, the small one tucked behind the big one.
Step 3: Lettuce
From just past the left corner, draw frilly lettuce bumps behind the tomatoes, to just past the right corner.
Step 4: Toasty spots
Draw 3 little ovals on the pita for toasty spots, from high on the right to low on the left.
Step 5: A plate
Under the pita draw a long flat oval plate, stopping its back line at the pita.
Step 6: The rim
Draw a second oval just inside the plate, stopping at the pita, for the rim.
Step 7: Tan pita
Go over your lines, then colour the pita tan, around the toasty spots.
Step 8: Sky plate
Colour the plate sky blue, around the pita.
Step 9: Green lettuce
Colour the lettuce green.
Step 10: Ginger spots, red tomato
Colour the toasty spots ginger and the tomato slices red, and your pita bread is done!
