How to Draw a Pillow
Draw a pillow in 11 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the pillow.
Step 1: The pillow
Draw a big pillow shape, wider than tall, with 4 soft pointy corners. Let each side curve in a little.
Step 2: Corner pinches
At each corner, start on the edge and draw 2 short lines curving in toward the middle.
Step 3: Two big eyes
In the middle of the pillow, a little above halfway down, draw 2 big egg eyes, half an eye apart.
Step 4: Pupils and shines
Colour a big black dot in each eye. Leave a big white shine and a tiny one.
Step 5: Smile and cheeks
Below the eyes, draw a U smile from one eye to the other. Add an oval cheek on each side.
Step 6: Two sleepy Zs
Above the top right corner, draw a big Z. Draw a smaller Z up and to the right of it.
Step 7: Two sparkles
Above the top left corner, draw 2 small 4-point stars, one a bit bigger than the other.
Step 8: A shadow
Draw a long flat oval under the pillow, a little wider than it, so the bottom corners sit on it.
Step 9: Yellow and pink
Colour the sparkles yellow and the cheeks pink.
Step 10: Sky pillow
Colour the pillow sky blue, around the cheeks. Leave the eyes white.
Step 11: Grey shadow
Go over your lines, then colour the shadow grey. Your pillow is ready for a nap!
