How to Draw a Bill
Draw a bill in 11 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the note.
Step 1: The note
In the middle draw a wide box with soft corners, twice as wide as tall, for the bank note.
Step 2: The portrait oval
In the middle of the note draw a big round oval, nearly as tall as the note, for the portrait.
Step 3: A happy face
In the oval draw 2 big round eyes with black dots. Add a wide U smile and 2 cheeks.
Step 4: The border
Inside the note draw a second soft-cornered box a finger in from the edge, all the way round.
Step 5: Two number ones
In the top-left corner draw a number 1 with a little flat base. Draw another 1 in the bottom-right corner.
Step 6: Two seals
Draw a small circle on each side of the oval for seals: one low left, one high right.
Step 7: A note behind
Behind the note draw a second note peeking out, tilted a little, only its edges showing.
Step 8: Sparkles
Draw 4 small sparkle stars in the corners of the paper, each with 4 points like a plus sign.
Step 9: Cream oval, yellow stars
Colour the oval cream, leaving the eyes and cheeks white, and the stars yellow.
Step 10: Pink cheeks, green note
Colour the cheeks pink and the note leaf green around the oval, leaving the seals white.
Step 11: Dark note behind
Colour the note behind dark green. Go over your lines and your bill is done!
