How to Draw a Pig
Draw a pig in 10 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the head.
Step 1: The head
Near the top left of your paper draw a big round head with soft cheeks. Leave room on the right.
Tip A big head makes it cute: as big as the body is deep.
Step 2: Eyes and snout
Draw 2 big eyes in the middle of the head. Below, add an oval snout, 2 nostrils and a smile.
Step 3: The ears
On each top corner of the head draw a soft triangle ear leaning out, with a smaller one inside.
Step 4: The neck
Start behind the head and draw a short neck down to the right. Add a round chest under the chin.
Step 5: The body
Start where the neck line ends. Draw a long back, a round bottom and a tummy back to the chest.
Tip A bean, not a loaf: the bottom is rounder and higher.
Step 6: Two legs
Draw a ground line. From the chest draw a front leg down to a hoof. Add a back leg.
Tip A hoof is a little doorstop with a split up the middle.
Step 7: The far legs
Draw 2 far legs peeking out behind. Start on the tummy and stop at a hoof on the ground.
Step 8: Curly tail
Start at the top corner of the bottom. Draw a short line out, then a swirl that curls round twice.
Step 9: Colour it pink
Go over your lines. Colour the snout and inside the ears peach, then the pig pink around them.
Tip Leave the eyes white.
Step 10: Brown hooves
Colour the hooves brown. Your pig is done!
