How to Draw a Pet Shop Window
Draw a pet shop window in 14 easy steps, about 11 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: shop front.
Step 1: Shop front
Draw a wide box for the shop, sitting low on your paper. Add a long flat ledge on top.
Step 2: Paw sign
On the ledge draw a sign board. Inside it draw a paw print: 1 big pad and 3 round toes.
Step 3: The awning
From the left wall draw 5 hanging bumps to the right wall. Draw 4 lines down to the dips.
Step 4: Window and sill
From the awning draw a big window: down, across, then up to the awning. Add a sill under it.
Step 5: The door
Start at the awning and draw a tall door down to the ground. Add a square window in it.
Step 6: The puppy
On the sill draw 2 small paws. Behind them draw a round head with 2 floppy ears hanging down.
Step 7: The kitten
In the middle draw 2 more paws. Behind them draw a wide head with 2 pointed ears.
Step 8: The rabbit
On the right draw 2 more paws. Behind them draw a round head with 2 tall ears.
Step 9: Three faces
Give each pet 2 dot eyes, a small dark nose and a tiny smile under it.
Step 10: The ground
Start near the left edge and draw a long ground line under the shop. Stop near the right edge.
Step 11: Cream and blue
Go over your lines. Colour the walls cream. Colour both windows light blue, around the pets.
Step 12: Puppy and kitten
Colour the puppy's head light brown and the kitten orange. Leave the rabbit and all the paws white.
Step 13: Red stripes
Colour 3 stripes of the awning red: the first, the middle and the last. Leave the other 2 white.
Step 14: Brown wood
Colour the door, the sign, the ledge, the sill and the puppy's ears brown.
