How to Draw a Cafe
Draw a cafe in 11 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the cafe front.
Step 1: The cafe front
Draw a wide block. Add a roof ledge on top, starting at one top corner and ending at the other.
Step 2: The sign
High up draw a sign with a steaming cup inside. Start a C handle on the cup's side, ending lower.
Tip A cup on the sign tells everyone it is a cafe.
Step 3: The awning
Under the sign draw an awning: start low left, up, across and down. Join the ends with 6 bumps.
Step 4: The window
Under the awning on the left draw a big square window with a plus sign inside.
Step 5: The door
On the right draw a door from the bottom line, up, across, down to it. Add glass and a knob.
Step 6: A little table
On the left draw a table: an oval top, a leg down to the ground, and a cup on top.
Step 7: A menu board
Outside on the right draw a menu board: start on the ground, go up, across and down to the ground.
Step 8: Ground and grass
Draw the ground line from each bottom corner out to the edge. Add a tuft of grass beside each corner.
Step 9: Sky glass, white cups
Colour the window and door glass sky blue, leaving both cups white.
Step 10: Cream walls, wooden door
Colour the walls cream and the door, roof ledge and menu board wood brown, around the glass.
Step 11: Teal awning and sign
Colour the awning and the sign board teal, around the white cup. Go over your lines and you are done!

Your finished drawing
