How to Draw a Peppermint
Draw a peppermint in 10 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the round mint.
Step 1: The round mint
In the middle of your paper draw a big round, as big as your fist.
Step 2: First red swirl
From the very middle draw a fat curved wedge out to the top edge and back, like a windmill blade.
Step 3: Three more blades
Draw 3 more blades the same way round the middle: one right, one at the bottom, one left.
Step 4: Left wrapper
From the left edge draw 2 lines fanning out left, like a short trumpet. Join them with a wavy edge.
Step 5: Right wrapper
Same on the right: fan out 2 lines from the right edge and close them with a wavy edge.
Step 6: Twist lines
Draw a short curved line across each wrapper end, near the mint, bowing toward it.
Step 7: A shine
On the upper left of the mint draw a thin slanted oval sliver for a shine.
Step 8: The ground
Draw a ground line under the mint, touching it, from well left to well right.
Step 9: Sky wrapper
Colour the two wrapper ends sky blue.
Step 10: Red blades
Colour the 4 blades red, leaving the mint and shine white. Go over your lines and your peppermint is done!

Your finished drawing
Follow the steps above and this is where you end up: a peppermint, drawn by you.
