How to Draw a Penguin Face
Draw a penguin face in 10 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: big egg head.
Step 1: Big egg head
Draw a big egg, a little wider at the bottom, so big it fills most of the page.
Step 2: White face
Start on the left cheek. Draw a big upside-down U inside the head and stop on the right cheek.
Tip The black band is thick on top and thin at the sides.
Step 3: The beak
In the lower half of the white face, draw a small rounded triangle pointing down.
Step 4: Two big eyes
Halfway down the head, draw 2 big egg eyes, a gap apart. Give each a black dot and a shine.
Step 5: Beak line
Draw a short line across the beak, a little below its top, from side to side.
Step 6: Three hairs
On top of the head, draw 3 short hairs sticking up: one straight up, one leaning out each side.
Step 7: Rosy cheeks
Colour a small pink dot on each cheek, beside the beak and under the eye.
Step 8: Falling snow
Draw 4 little snowflakes around the head, 2 on each side. Each is 3 short lines crossing in the middle.
Step 9: Orange beak
Colour the beak bright orange.
Step 10: Black head
Colour the head black around the white face, going carefully round the edge. Leave the face and eyes white.
