How to Draw a Pastry Bag
Draw a pastry bag in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the bag.
Step 1: The bag
Start high on the left and draw a tall V with a flat point, stopping high on the right.
Step 2: Two big eyes
Near the top of the bag, draw 2 big egg eyes an eye apart. Put a black dot in each.
Step 3: Smile and cheeks
Under the eyes, draw a U smile from eye to eye. Put an oval cheek under each eye.
Step 4: The twisted top
From each top corner, curve up and in to a thin neck. Put a small fan-shaped twist on top.
Step 5: The metal tip
Under the bag, draw a cup tip: start on the left corner, slant down, across, up to the right corner.
Step 6: The cupcake case
Under the tip, draw a short wide cup, narrower at the bottom, with 4 straight lines down it for pleats.
Step 7: The frosting swirl
Start on the case's left corner. Curve a mound over to the right corner. Add a smaller hump on top.
Step 8: Ground line
Start near the left edge. Draw a straight ground line across under everything, stopping near the right edge.
Step 9: Sparkles
Draw a few little 4-point sparkles around it to make it shine.
Step 10: Yellow sparkles, pink cheeks
Go over your lines, then colour the sparkles yellow and the cheeks pink.
Step 11: Pink frosting, tan case
Colour the frosting pink and the case tan.
Step 12: Blue bag, grey tip
Colour the bag and its twist blue, around the pink cheeks, and the tip grey. Leave the eyes white.
