How to Draw a Parking Garage
Draw a parking garage in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: 4 columns.
Step 1: 4 columns
Draw 4 tall thin boxes in a row across your paper, evenly spaced.
Step 2: Roof and floors
Draw 3 long flat boxes across the columns: the roof along the top, and 2 floors below it.
Tip A parking garage is open at the sides, so you see every car.
Step 3: Ground floor car
At the bottom, between the first 2 columns, draw a car with a roof bump, a window and 2 wheels.
Step 4: Lower floor car
On the lower floor, between the last 2 columns, draw another car the same way.
Step 5: Upper floor car
On the upper floor, under the roof, between the middle 2 columns, draw a third car.
Step 6: The P sign
On top of the roof draw a box for the sign. Write a big letter P inside it.
Step 7: An arrow
At the bottom, between the last 2 columns, draw an arrow pointing right to show the way in.
Step 8: The ground
Draw the ground line across the bottom of the page.
Step 9: Yellow car, blue sign
Colour the car on the upper floor yellow, and the windows and the P sign sky blue.
Step 10: Grey concrete
Colour the columns, the floors and the roof grey.
Step 11: Red and blue cars
Colour the ground floor car red and the lower floor car blue, around the windows.
Step 12: Dark wheels
Colour all the car wheels dark grey. Your parking garage is done!

Your finished drawing
Follow the steps above and this is where you end up: a parking garage, drawn by you.
