How to Draw a Parcel
Draw a parcel in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the box front.
Step 1: The box front
Low on your paper, a little left of the middle, draw a big wide rectangle with sharp corners.
Tip Leave room above and to the right for the top and side.
Step 2: Two big eyes
On the left of the front, draw 2 big egg eyes, a little apart, with black dots and white shine.
Step 3: Smile and cheeks
Draw a U smile under the eyes. Add a small flat oval cheek beside each end.
Step 4: The top
Start at the top left corner. Slant up a little, go across, and slant down to the top right corner.
Step 5: The side
Start at the back right corner of the top. Go straight down, then slant down to the bottom right corner.
Step 6: Packing tape
Start at the bottom edge. Draw 2 lines close together up the front and over the top to the back.
Step 7: Label and stamp
On the right of the front, draw a small label with 2 lines. Add a square stamp bottom left.
Step 8: Sparkles
Draw 4 little sparkles in the air around the parcel.
Step 9: The floor
Draw a long straight floor line along the bottom of the box, sticking out a little on each side.
Step 10: Tan cardboard
Colour the front, top and side tan, around the face, tape, label and stamp. Leave the eyes white.
Step 11: Brown tape, red stamp
Colour the strip of tape brown and the stamp red.
Step 12: Pink cheeks
Colour the cheeks pink, then go over your lines. Your parcel is ready to post!
