How to Draw a Domino
Draw a domino in 10 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the tile.
Step 1: The tile
In the middle of your paper draw a tall rectangle with rounded corners, twice as tall as wide.
Tip Tall and narrow, like a door.
Step 2: Two big eyes
In the top half of the tile draw 2 big round eyes a finger apart, with a dot and shine.
Step 3: Smile and cheeks
Under the eyes draw a wide U smile from eye to eye. Add a small oval cheek beside each end.
Step 4: The middle line
Start on the left edge halfway down the tile. Draw a straight line across and stop on the right edge.
Step 5: Six dots
In the bottom half draw 6 round dots in 2 rows of 3, like the 6 on a dice.
Step 6: Table and shadow
Draw a straight table line across the paper under the tile. Add a flat oval shadow peeking out each side.
Step 7: Sparkles
Draw 3 sparkle stars around the tile, each like a plus sign with curvy dips.
Step 8: Yellow stars, pink cheeks
Go over your lines, then colour the sparkle stars yellow and the cheeks pink.
Step 9: Cream tile, grey shadow
Colour the tile cream around the eyes, cheeks and dots, and the shadow grey.
Tip Leave the eyes white.
Step 10: Black dots
Colour the 6 dots black, and your domino is done!
