How to Draw a Mirror
Draw a mirror in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the frame.
Step 1: The frame
In the upper half of your paper draw one big circle, about as wide as your hand.
Step 2: The glass
Inside it draw a second circle, a finger in from the edge, so the frame is a thick ring.
Step 3: Two big eyes
In the glass, above the middle, draw 2 big egg eyes with a black dot and a white shine.
Step 4: Smile and cheeks
Under the eyes draw a wide U smile. Add a small flat oval cheek beside each end.
Step 5: The handle
Start under the frame. Draw a long handle down, round the end, and come back up to the frame.
Tip A long strip that narrows to a round end.
Step 6: Three gems
On the middle of the frame ring draw 3 small round gems: top, upper left and upper right.
Step 7: A bow
Where the handle meets the frame draw a bow: a small rounded box with a fat teardrop loop each side.
Step 8: Stripes and a heart
Near the top of the handle draw 2 lines across it, side to side. Under them draw a tiny heart.
Step 9: Shine and sparkles
In the glass, top left, draw a curved shine. Add a sparkle star on each side of the mirror.
Step 10: Sky glass, yellow gems
Colour the gems, bow and sparkles yellow, and the glass sky blue around the cheeks. Leave the eyes white.
Step 11: Pink mirror
Colour the frame ring and the handle pink, going around the gems, the bow and the heart.
Step 12: Red cheeks and heart
Colour the cheeks and the heart red. Your mirror is done!

Your finished drawing
Follow the steps above and this is where you end up: a mirror, drawn by you.
