How to Draw Pancakes
Draw pancakes in 11 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the top pancake.
Step 1: The top pancake
Above the middle draw a wide flat oval. Under it draw a wide smile from end to end.
Step 2: Second pancake
Start at the first pancake's left corner. Draw a smile a little lower, up to its right corner.
Tip Each pancake hides behind the one above.
Step 3: Third pancake
Start at the second pancake's left corner. Draw a smile a little lower, up to its right corner.
Step 4: A pat of butter
On top of the stack draw a small cube of butter: a tilted diamond top with 2 faces below.
Step 5: Syrup drips
Start at the left of the top pancake's edge. Draw 5 fat U drips hanging down, stopping at the right.
Step 6: Blueberries
Draw 3 small round berries on the top pancake: 2 on the left, 1 on the right.
Step 7: A plate
Start at the left of the bottom pancake. Draw a wide flat plate round behind the stack and under it.
Step 8: Steam
Above the stack draw 2 wavy lines going up, like wiggly worms, one each side of the butter.
Step 9: Tan pancakes
Go over your lines. Colour all 3 pancakes tan, around the butter, the berries and the syrup.
Step 10: Brown syrup
Colour the syrup brown and the butter yellow.
Step 11: Purple berries
Colour the berries purple and the plate sky blue, around the stack.
