How to Draw an Ice Cream Sandwich
Draw an ice cream sandwich in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the front.
Step 1: The front
A little below the middle, draw a long low rectangle with round corners, twice as wide as it is tall.
Step 2: The top
From each top corner, draw a short line slanting up to the right. Join their ends across.
Step 3: The side
From the bottom right corner, draw a short line slanting up, then straight up to meet the top.
Step 4: Layers in front
Draw 2 lines straight across the front, a quarter of the way down and a quarter of the way up.
Tip Keep the wafers thin, so the ice cream in the middle is the fattest layer.
Step 5: Layers on the side
From where each line meets the edge, draw a short slanted line up to the right, like the top.
Step 6: Holes on top
On the top, draw 2 rows of 4 little ovals for the holes in the wafer.
Step 7: A drip
Start on the lower layer line at the left. Draw a little drip down and round, back to the line.
Step 8: The table
Draw a long table line under the block, from far left to far right, just touching the bottom.
Step 9: Crumbs
Draw a tiny oval on the table on each side for crumbs.
Step 10: Cream ice cream
Colour the fat middle layer and the drip cream, on the front and on the side.
Step 11: Dark brown wafers
Go over your lines. Colour both wafers, the top and the crumbs dark brown, around the drip and holes.
Step 12: Black holes
Colour the little holes black, and your ice cream sandwich is done!
