How to Draw a Pallet Jack
Draw a pallet jack in 11 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the pump block.
Step 1: The pump block
Right of the middle, a little low, draw a box with soft corners a bit taller than it is wide.
Tip A pallet jack is just a block, 2 long forks and a tall handle.
Step 2: The round face
In the block draw a BIG circle nearly as wide as the block.
Step 3: Eyes and smile
In the circle draw 2 round eyes, each with a dot and a shine, and a wide smile.
Step 4: The long fork
From low on the block draw a long flat fork running left, with a rounded tip.
Tip A pallet jack has 2 forks side by side, so from the side you see just one.
Step 5: Wheels and ground
Add ground. Draw a wheel with a dot under the block, and one on a post under the fork tip.
Step 6: The tall handle
From the top of the block draw a long fat handle slanting up right, with an oval loop on top.
Tip The handle is tall and slanted back: you pump it to lift the forks.
Step 7: The pallet
Over the fork draw a pallet: a thick top board, 3 square blocks with gaps, and a bottom board.
Tip The fork slides through the pallet, so it shows in the gaps and at the tip.
Step 8: A box on top
On the pallet draw a big box. Draw 2 close tape lines across its middle and a small label.
Step 9: Pink cheeks, red jack
Go over your lines. Colour 2 pink cheeks, then colour the block, fork, post, handle and grip red.
Tip Leave the face and the eyes white.
Step 10: Wood pallet, brown box
Colour the pallet wood brown and the box brown, leaving the tape lines and the label showing.
Step 11: Grey dot, black wheels
Colour the wheel dot grey, then colour both wheels black around it. Your pallet jack is ready to roll!
