How to Draw a Scooter

11 steps · Medium · about 8 min

Draw a scooter in 11 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.

Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: handlebar and grips.

Print

  1. Step 1: Handlebar and grips

Near the top, left of the middle, draw a short flat bar. Add a fat pill grip on each end.

  2. Step 2: Stem and fork

From the bar's middle, draw 2 long lines down, leaning back. Add a clamp and fork at the bottom.

  3. Step 3: Deck and fender

Start on the back of the fork. Draw a flat deck right, over a rainbow fender, and down.

  4. Step 4: Two small wheels

Draw a round front wheel under the fork. Draw a back wheel the same size tucked under the fender.

  5. Step 5: Tyres and hubs

Inside each wheel, draw a smaller circle to make a fat tyre ring. Add a round hub in the middle.

  6. Step 6: Dome bell

Right of the stem, start on the bar. Draw a small dome bell with a knob, stopping on the bar.

  7. Step 7: Ground line

Start in front of the front wheel. Draw a flat ground line touching both wheels, stopping past the back wheel.

  8. Step 8: Yellow and light grey

Colour the deck, fender and bell yellow. Colour each wheel light grey inside its tyre, not the hub.

  9. Step 9: Red grips

Colour the 2 round grips on the handlebar red.

  10. Step 10: Blue stem and bar

Colour the handlebar, the stem, the clamp and the fork blue.

  11. Step 11: Dark grey tyres

Colour both tyres and both hubs dark grey, around the light grey.
