How to Draw an Ox
Draw an ox in 11 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the head.
Step 1: The head
Near the top left of your paper draw a big round head with soft cheeks. Leave room on the right.
Tip A big head makes it cute.
Step 2: Eyes and muzzle
Draw 2 big shiny eyes in the middle of the head. Add a wide muzzle, 2 nostrils and a smile.
Step 3: Horns and ears
On the top corners draw 2 thick horns curving out, then up. Add a leaf ear each side.
Step 4: The neck
Start behind the head and draw the neck sloping down to the back. Do the front from the chin.
Step 5: The body
Start at the bottom of the neck. Draw a big soft bean body and stop at the chest.
Step 6: Two legs
Start on the chest and draw a front leg that gets thinner down to a hoof. Add a back leg.
Step 7: Far legs and ground
Draw 2 thinner far legs peeking out behind. Then draw a ground line under the hooves, from side to side.
Step 8: The tail
Start halfway down the back of the bum. Draw a thin tail hanging down and stop at a fluffy tuft.
Step 9: Pink and sand
Go over your lines. Colour the ear insides pink, and the horns and tail tuft sand.
Step 10: Wood brown ox
Colour the muzzle peach and the ox wood brown, around the pink and sand. Leave the eyes and hooves white.
Step 11: Slate hooves
Colour the hooves slate grey.
