How to Draw an Omega Symbol
Draw an omega symbol in 10 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: left of the arch.
Step 1: Left of the arch
Start low on the left. Draw a big round curve up and over, half a circle. Stop at the top.
Tip An omega is a round arch standing on 2 flat feet.
Step 2: Right of the arch
From the top carry on round and down the right side to match. Stop level with your start.
Step 3: Right foot
From there draw out to the right, round the end, back underneath to the middle, then a short line up.
Tip Leave a gap in the middle, between the 2 feet.
Step 4: Inside the arch
From the top of that short line draw a smaller arch inside the big one. Stop above the left foot.
Tip Keep the 2 arches the same distance apart all the way round.
Step 5: Left foot
From there draw a short line down, go left underneath, round the end and back to where you started.
Step 6: A shine
Inside the arch, at the top left, draw 1 short curved line. It must not touch the edges.
Step 7: A shadow
Under the 2 feet draw a long thin flat oval for the shadow, with the feet sitting on it.
Step 8: Three sparkles
In the space round the omega draw 3 little sparkles: 2 at the top corners, 1 low on the left.
Step 9: Yellow sparkles
Go over your lines. Colour the 3 sparkles yellow and the shadow grey.
Step 10: Purple omega
Colour the whole omega purple, and your omega symbol is done!

Your finished drawing
Follow the steps above and this is where you end up: an omega symbol, drawn by you.
