How to Draw an Ocean Princess
Draw an ocean princess in 14 easy steps, about 11 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: egg head.
Step 1: Egg head
Near the top, in the middle, draw an egg for the head, narrower at the chin.
Tip Leave a little room above the head for a crown, and most of the page below.
Step 2: Eyes and lashes
Below the middle, draw 2 round eyes, each with a black dot, a shine and a lash.
Step 3: Nose and smile
Under the eyes, draw a tiny nose and a big smile.
Step 4: Fringe and shell crown
Draw the hair over the head with a curved fringe. On top, add a band with 3 round shells.
Step 5: Wavy hair
From each end of the fringe, draw a long wavy hair line out and down. Stop well below the chin.
Step 6: Neck and dress
Draw 2 neck lines down to a V collar. From it, draw a short-sleeved dress with a wavy hem.
Step 7: Belt
Draw 2 curved lines across the waist of the dress, a finger apart, from side to side.
Step 8: Arms
From each sleeve, draw 2 lines down to the wrist, closer together at the bottom.
Step 9: Mitten hands
At the bottom of each arm, draw a round mitten hand with a little thumb pointing in.
Step 10: Legs
From under the hem, draw 2 lines for each leg, narrower at the ankle. Stop near the page bottom.
Step 11: Feet and starfish
From each leg, draw a bare foot pointing out, back to the leg. Add a ground line and a starfish.
Step 12: Pink cheeks, peach skin
Colour a pink cheek under each eye. Colour the skin peach around them. Leave the eyes white.
Step 13: Yellow crown, pink top
Colour the shell crown and the belt yellow. Colour the top and the starfish pink.
Step 14: Teal skirt, brown hair
Colour the wavy skirt teal and the long hair brown. Your ocean princess is done!
